Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: Is the "Great Start Guide" intended only for people who have never managed before?
A: No, not at all. Although the guide is very useful for anyone with no or little management experience, it's also designed for any manager in their first, second or third management job. Very experienced managers have found it of benefit because it provides a systematic approach and checklists for assessing your management job and making plans.

Q: I don't work in the United States? Can I still be a member of The New Managers Club?
A: Yes, of course. We have members from many countries around the world. Many of the issues facing managers are  the same regardless of culture or country. Legal requirements can vary and where these impact we will point that out to you. You should always check the law as it applies to you and your employer. Also, we believe that when international perspectives on management are shared, there is great value to everyone. The great ideas from one company in a particular country can be a "light bulb" moment in another company in another country.

Q: Can I share the Club's materials with my friends and  colleagues?
A: No, please do not share our services with non-members. Our staff works hard to provide you with quality products and content, please don't share it with others. The more members we have, the faster we can invest in our service to you and therefore improve the support you receive. If you know someone who is interested in joining The New Manager Club, please join our affiliate program and encourage them to sign-up. You will receive a commission and you will allow our membership site to continue to provide the highest quality management training available online.

Q: I have a question for the Clubs's "Ask an Expert" section. Will my boss and colleagues be able to see my question and identify me?
A: No, it's not possible for you to be identified. Firstly, remember that this is a site to which only members have access, it isn't open to the public. We NEVER refer to our members by their name and we NEVER indicate their gender. We only reference a member by initials and the initials are not part of the member's name. We don't think it can get more anonymous.
Please take care yourself though when you write to us. Don't mention your company by name - even refering to an aerospace company in Seattle could be a give away. However, relax because your messages to us are always vetted, by us, prior to publication on the site.

Q: I just signed up and I want to get started right away. What do I do?
A: Once your payment has been completed, you will receive an e-mail with log-in instructions. You may also log into the portal by using this link: The New Managers Club - Members.  Be sure to have your username and password handy.

Q: I forgot my username and/or password, what do I do?
A: If you visit here: The New Managers Club - Members , at the bottom there is a box to enter your e-mail address and have your information sent to you.

Q: I bought the Great Start Guide. I thought it was a one time purchase, not a monthly charge.
A: When you purchase the Great Start Guide, also included is a trial membership to The New Managers Club. It is stated here: Terms and on our Great Start Page that you will continue to be charged a monthly membership fee if you do not cancel.

Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: We'll be sorry if you want to cancel! Would you please take a minute to let us know why - that will help us to improve our service. You can cancel your membership any time by emailing us at support-at-tfbassociates.com with the subject line "TNMC Manual Cancellation".

Q: I meant to cancel my membership but forgot. I've just cancelled now, can I have a refund for this month?
A: No sorry. We do not offer full or partial refunds for late cancellations. You must cancel your membership before the next payment in order to not be charged. Once you have cancelled you will continue to have access to the Club through the month you have paid.

Q: I referred someone to your site, but I forgot to use my affiliate link. Can I still get credit?
A: No, unfortunately you must use your affiliate link in order to receive affiliate credit. This is necessary for accounting and tax purposes.
